Bear's Steakhouse in Duanesburg

Outstanding meal. The Chateau Briand was excellant, and leftovers for tomorrow... If you have never been here, its a must...

Well it had been 20 years since I was at the Bears restaurant in Duanesburg, and I don't know why I waited so long to return. I can't say enough about the service, and the absolutely delicious food. From shrimp cocktail to salad to prime rib to dessert absolutely magnificent. And a huge added bonus, I felt very comfortable social distancing in this establishment.

Awesome...... The Very Best Place In The Capital Region For Chateaubriand.

This is one of those little secret places that is the best thing that you've never found. They only have 2 options for the entire table to share. Chateaubriand or prime rib. Fresh meat cooked to perfection!Call ahead, by about a month, if you want a reservation! You won't regret it!

We visit this place back in August and we were impressed with the quality and freshness of their food. Not to mention the owners. Such a wonderful experience!

Go here. Just go! It's epic - I'm so full. We pre-ordered the prime rib. It had to be two pounds - couldn't eat it all. Service was excellent - we will be back!!

The Chateaubriand is the seriously, without hyperbole, the best meal I've had. The meat practically melts in your mouth. Yes, it's pricey, which is why we go only on special occasions but it is worth every penny.
